Keisei electric loco?

Hi all,

 

Trawling through the HW site I found this: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10091044 - a Keisei electric locomotive. However, which Keisei is this one...the interurban or the Keisei Rinkai?

Looks like the normal Keisei, as the Japanese description states 京成 and not 京成臨海. I don't even know if Keisei Rinkai existed. You sure you don't confuse it with Keiyou Rinkai (京葉臨海)  per accident?

Oops, got my geography and my Japanese wrong... I meant Keio Rinkai, Kato did a two loco set of the KD55 locos some time ago... wrong railroad then...

 

If it is Keisei, would that mean that the loco was 1372/1435mm gauge?

That type of locomotive was used on several different railways.

Well, it does say that the loco was a standard Toshiba design...what I would like to know is if by any chance the Keisei loco was "wide gauge" or not...

It was 1372mm Gauge from 1947 to 1959. It was regauged to 1435mm in 1959 along with the whole company, was used in some freight services and snowploughing action until 1974 when it was scrapped.
