Nick_Burman
...especially for those who like private railways.... Choshi Dendetsu in 1933! Note buses... A trip round Lake Biwa on the Kojaku Railway...with Wason/GE-lookalike railcars...and a Keifuku trolley making a cameo appearance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLFzyTRooOs&NR=1 Cheers NB 5 Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Thanks. The Choshi Dentetsu video is interesting as you note for the buses. I see some are lettered with "Hokuso Motor Bus" on the sides, Hokuso being the name of the region around Choshi (and also the name of the Keisei affiliate and new Narita Airport link Hokuso Rlwy). The Kojaku Rlwy diesel railcars are ex-JNR Kiha 07, received in the 1950's after JNR upgraded to the kiha 10 and 20 types. A valuable historical record on film, from 1969. Nice views of the various stations on this line, semaphores, and freight sheds. Link to comment
