scott
It's weird--if I make a post, it gets 8 or 10 "reads" within about 15 seconds. There's no way that many people are seeing a post and reading it that quickly. Are we infested with some sort of new-fangled automatical computerish thingies? Link to comment
David
Does it have anything to do with the RSS feed and sites that read it? Also, JNS seem to be on Google's list of "index instantly" sites, such that you can search for and get as a first result something posted only 5 minutes before. Oh, and one of those reads is probably me. Link to comment
bill937ca
Many new posts appear on the home page. See: http://www.jnsforum.com/index.php Guests will see the newest post and if there is an image visible it will probably get greater hits. Link to comment
KenS
And one was me, and there are 23 guests online right now. 8 or 10 reads doesn't seem quite as unlikely as it might. Link to comment

ToniBabelony
Well, I think some of us (me) just seem to forget stuff very quickly and have to re-read some topics, thus the high ratio of readers :P *god, I need an energy drink!* Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
no more caffeine for you guys Caffeine isn't strong enough, unless it's like several triple espresso's or something ;) Red Bull tends to work too Link to comment
CaptOblivious
David has it right, I think: at any given time, we've got several search engine bots crawling out site. Link to comment
