bill937ca
This show was held in Yokohama during February and their is some updated information on 2010 releases. http://casco.blog.so-net.ne.jp/archive/c2300575874-1 The Tomix wide tram track which I am watching for will include S70, S140, C103, C140 and C177 with the curves in 30 degree and 60 degree sizes. No indication of switches or crossovers at this point. The straight shorts look a little funny in the photograph because they are partially under a clear shelf for the new containers. http://casco.blog.so-net.ne.jp/_images/blog/_a37/casco/IMGP2742.JPG On a related note, Kato Unitrack gives no indication of any new releases. Claude_Dreyfus
Agree with the comments about the car collection 10. I have been bemoaning the lack of up-to-date saloon cars...we are fine with smaller cars such as Nissan Micras etc. and the people Carriers, however stuff like the Toyota Avensis or Corolla are sadly lacking. Hopefully this will redress the balance, although it looks like there is a disparate number of police cars within the collections! Perhaps the good people of Japan are not as law-abiding as their reputation suggests! Link to comment
IST
On a related note, Kato Unitrack gives no indication of any new releases. This is a bit disappointing. I agree. I hope Kato will release some note in the next quarter what his plan is with the Unitram system. I quite like this Type 100 Shinkansen: http://casco.blog.so-net.ne.jp/_images/blog/_a37/casco/IMGP2771.JPG. It will be a new form model or a re-release? Link to comment
David
Tomix http://casco.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2010-02-14 I've already got my hands on the ED75-1000 (2nd picture). I haven't attached all the detail parts that come with it yet (there are a bunch), but the detail that is already on it is excellent, windows look very cool in person. Runs quiet and has a terrific flywheel. My only complaint is that the headlights don't light up very well at low speed. Link to comment
