kmcsjr
DOH!!!! I asked for assembly tips, then never read the instructions!!!!!!! Anyway, I've done a bunch of them and was opening the next bag, when I read the instructions. They call for permanently removing the spring. Is there performance difference? Thanks. Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Really, removing the extant spring? That sounds weird to me. I'd have left them in too. I suppose there's no harm in setting up a couple of cars both ways and observing the difference yourself? I presume you rectify which ever method worked worst? Link to comment
kmcsjr
Yeesh, I'm illiterate in English (my native language), I cant read anything in Japanese AND I missinterpret pictures... The arrow showing the spring coming out is a warning, not an instruction to remove the spring. :confused5: Link to comment
CaptOblivious
Oh, good. Glad you figured it out! Link to comment
kmcsjr
Now, if I could only find the addon set Kato 10-196, I'd be able to do some more coupler swaps! 1 Link to comment
