miyakoji
There was a Shikoku travel thread recently by @Tony Galiani and this particular line came up in a thread by @tridentalx. Very rural, somewhat long distances between stations, and impressive views of the countryside and Shimanto River. Halfway between Utsuigawa and Tosa-Taisho it looks like there's a walking path to the left of the track, slightly up the hillside. Not sure if this is public, maintained, or anything but my imagination but it looks like it would be cool for an adventurous stroll. Tosa-Taisho and Chikanaga look like they were once larger operations, perhaps long JNR express DMU formations passed there. Also maybe cool subjects for modelling. I created this account 15 years ago today. Pretty wild. It is always nice chatting with you folks. I hope we are still at it in another 15. 3 Link to comment
Tony Galiani
Thanks for posting this. Enjoyed what I have seen so far (since I am watching it in pieces due to its length). Also working on another visit to Shikoku for the Fall so something else to put into the mix. And I will echo your sentiments about the group as well. Great place to be and also hoping we keep at it!
