Desy
Hi guys I need your help Where do you think I can find a 3D / STL file for structures and houses ready to be printed for my Japanese N Gauge rural based layout? See attached image for reference: 1 Link to comment
bill937ca
Not a 3D file but Japanese farm houses from Tomix and TGW. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10536131 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10031894 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10077789 Houses in the video are generally Tomytec. These are mostly from urban areas. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10864138 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10560278 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10560283 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10483639 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10136526 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10067408 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10483637 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10086010 Some traditional like houses that may have been houses at one time. These are often mixed in with houses. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10106554 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10250660 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10250658 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10362794 1 Link to comment

mwagner
ready to print - maybe impossible. Here are some links. Surely you have to scale the size. I didn't print these models. So I don't know any issues. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3991879 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3928018 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3899577 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4460864 I'd printed simple house-ish bodies in the past. Nothing fancy, still edited cubes with holes for the windows. And I'd built different houses attaching details, paint, etc. with the bodies. In this example (from left to right) the second building is based on body no 1. The first building ist based on body no 2. I've used body no 1 in the background (blue building) again. cteno4
Take a look at the basics of walls in greenmax, tomytec and sankei kits and you could easily adapt these in 3d as wall sections and just glue them together, this way simple printing flat and potential to mix and match wall bits. You can even do wall or building sections by the floor so you can just stack them up to the height needed and change things up some with different entrance and roof sections. jeff Link to comment
