India to receive E3 and E5 series Shinkansen for Testing

India is to receive an E3 and E5 series set for FREE from JR East. The sets are going to be delivered in 2026 at the earliest.

I'm glad they are getting some sales. It sounds like the Texas high speed rail project fell through, or at least isn't going to use Shinkansen rolling stock.
