Isn’t your poop golden? Mine is.

i love how these poops look like soft ice cream swirls. Kind of takes the appetite for soft serve ice cream away…

I saw that the other day.

Maybe run the poop train following the Sushi train!  🤣

Yeah but with goji on the layout we would need a massive poop train. One thing that is never shown in any godzilla movie is a radioactive pile in the street… Our usual comment when folks first shout out seeing the sushi train is that its Goji’s lunch, so i expect its logical to have the poop train following along with a chain of front loaders.

There is an obsession with poop in this country far beyond most of the rest of the world. My kids have poop erasers stored in a plastic toilet, poop chocolate when they went to the Toto museum with their grandparents, poop candy (apparently it was cola flavour) and there was a guy dressed in a pink tracksuit with a large pink poop mask going around Fukuoka called Pretty Unko man.

At least the TGW train resembles a traditional Japanese toilet, which they still insist on putting in to every public restroom and that nobody uses.

When we were in Tokyo a while ago there was a whole poop museum thing and they had an extension exhibit at the LaLaport Tokyo Bay mall.  This was several years ago but I've seen references to this or another museum since.

This was 2019

Yeah i think japan has put more research in to toilets than most of the world in rocket science. I remember seeing Toto’s ping pong ball testing years ago when no one was thinking flushing power! Human poop here has not really come out of the water closet here much so to speak.

I always said “poop sells!” In education. But that was in regards to teaching natural history stuff as with kids and bored adults i could always reach them talking about interesting poop facts or who eats who’s poop! Sea Cucumbers were hard critters to get folks to pay attention to at all [basically they look and act just like thier name], but when I would say they eat everyone else’s poop around them everyone got interested! When we were working on series of kids early reading books and cdroms i said this to the author and she really recoiled at the thought! I wore her down slowly but it was her talking to her daughter that was a kindergarten teacher that that finally pushed her over the edge.

But here i think I’ll draw the line as just may not have the same impact here on the layout, well maybe it would, but I think i would rather folks remembered the sushi train rather than the poop train!

That reminds me I need to get the swan train out at some shows and I need to finish some additions to the sushi train.
