Dillon
So during the summer of 2024, I discovered this unique children's series from Canada, it's about a subway car named Togo, and his friends in their lives at a town called TransitVille, what makes this series unique is that it uses models, infact, the track they used is Lionel 3-rail O Scale, I can't post any photos of the series in this forum, so a link would do Everything is handmade, including the engines. The colors look very nice from looking at clips on YouTube, very impressive. The studio behind this, Gazelle Automations, made the sets and models, and they also used puppets for their shows as well. The series also uses stop motion animation for the non-rail characters, which I thought was nice. The series consists of 27 episodes with a time length of 5 minutes. Many of Thomas' fans are quite impressed with this series, and unlike Thomas, the series doesn't use a narrator. The series is aired on CBC Kids in Canada, which the link is linked here. https://gem.cbc.ca/go-togo Though I think you need a VPN to watch this series since the show's release is in Canada, but this series looks very nice, and I could see kids liking this show and getting into trains. It's not Thomas the Tank Engine, obviously, but talented artists are making great children's programs like this. Here's the behind-the-scenes video on how the show is made. 3 Link to comment
