Chad's most awesome Fall '25 adventure on Hokkaido, Kobe, and Tokyo

I know I have topic for our May/June trip, but as I said, I have a quick Fall/Winter trip schedule to pick up our son, who is currently in Hokkaido.   The wife and I have two one-way flights, with the return one having our son as a third person.  He'll be done with his service and we're picking him up.

We're flying ANA (really United flown ANA ticketed) from SLC to SFO to HND to CTS.  We'll then do domestic Japan flights to Kobe, to visit relatives,  and then a train or flight to Tokyo for the flight home on Delta via SEA.  He wants to do Tokyo as he won't have been there for a good long while.

 

Don't know all we'll be doing but it will be determined by what our son want's to do.  He's been to Japan a dozen times in his life, approximately, so it's not like we'll necessarily be doing the typical tourist stuff.   

 

My first question is if anyone has experience with this hotel in Sapporo area:  Hotel Emisia Sapporo

 

It's not that far from where he'll be and where we'll be. going to his exit-ceremonies etc.
