mr bachmann
Yesterdays delivery Tomix Greenmover and chassis also 2 bus chassis , one found a home in a Oxford die-cast Leyland Atlantean , also finally got a Kato tram chassis in a Oxford trolly bus , the trolly is 6 wheel so it runs slightly above the road , in real life trolly bus do not run on/in track but still pick up from 2 overhead wires , so it will run in service between the trams , must start a layout 👍 2 1 Link to comment
brill27mcb
Nicely done! Note that it's spelled "trolley," not "trolly." Rich K. 1 Link to comment
mr bachmann
The next is not for the rivet counter , ,,, leave now you have been warned 😁 for some thing different for the moving bus , a furniture removal van , after looking there was nothing big enough to accept the Tomix bus chassis , so here goes ,,, 3 Link to comment

cteno4
That really came out nice! Great scratchbuild of that shell. yeah videos can get quite large for storage on our server [we pay extra to have a dedicated server account for media] and also the server is not optimized for video delivery. YouTube is the much better suited to it than we are and we allow embedding of youtube videos here on the forums and there are no ads displayed that way. jeff Link to comment
RS18U
@mr bachmann that looks great! I like the cab-over effect by having the front axle set back, looks good. Link to comment

RS18U
Yeah, that looks to be a lot of work to move the axle forward. And I am thinking that round thing ahead of the axle is the actual guide unit? So was wondering how you would hid that if the axle is pushed right the front of the frame/body. Link to comment
mr bachmann
The item you have ringed is the guide magnet , looking without the steering assembly , the front of the chassis is slotted and the front wheel is adjustable for vehicle length , so cut off the protruding slot and trim the slider that holds the steering , the magnet will then be forward of the front bumper , much like the Faller guide magnet . Will experiment on spare chassis on next Plaza order . the removal van is back together and running well 2 Link to comment
