miyakoji
Unique. I might say the same of Eiden's mirror mirror on the wall car. More positive connotation in this case 🙂 Interior definitely looks good. 1 Link to comment

Tony Galiani
Cloth seats. That likely only works in Japan! Tony 1 Link to comment
Kingmeow
On my first visit to Japan in 2023 that was one of the many things I noticed when I took my first ride on Tokyo's metro. Cloth seats! No stains, no defacing with markers, no cuts taped up with duct tape! It would last only MINUTES in NYC before some defacing occurs! 1 Link to comment
kuro68000
What are they covered with where you live? In the UK they used "moquette", which is apparently a blend of wool and synthetic fibres. It has a reputation for being very durable and stain resistant, although the latter could just be due to the garish pattern it always comes printed in, which I suspect is to hide soiling. Kingmeow
Pure molded resin/plastic. No covering. No padding! That's NYC (subways) for you! 🙂 Edited Friday at 02:17 PM by Kingmeow 1 Link to comment
