Hi all,

 

Greetings from Minneapolis!  I started acquiring Japanese N scale track and equipment during the pandemic, and have since then been constructing a small layout on a hollow core door in my basement.  No specific prototype being modeled, just a combination of the handful of trains I rode on my couple visits to Japan, plus anything else that strikes my fancy.

 

I have been lurking here for some time, but a thread about the wiring of the Tomix PX280 was so helpful to me (I had thought it had power routing like other Tomix turnouts--not true!  All four "corners" are isolated from one another) that I had to actually register and let folks know out of gratitude!

Hey Jack, glad you decided to pop up! Glad you have found the forum helpful. Please post some on your budding layout, always fun to see what folks do, we each have our own ideas and joys with the hobby and fun to see that wide spectrum of stuff!
