Tomix dc track power feeder for dcc?

Hi. New here and just getting into n scale modelling. Im just wondering if i cut the end off that plugs into the control box could I use the tomix dc power feed to power a dcc layout?, as im using tomix track and i think it would be an easy and reliable way to connect a dcc controller. Might be a silly question but im new here so please be nice

That should work, I would verify you have the correct gauge wire however.

I confirm that they work with DCC. There is no difference between DC and DCC when it comes to connecting the supply wires to the rails. For a permanent layout, I always recommend soldering the wires to the rails, but there is nothing wrong with these power feeders.
