I’ve read post and articles on here for years but finally decided to join so I could post up my stuff and ask questions.

I got into b-train shorty models a few years ago and had this whole plan to build a t-track module in that scale to take and display when I went to some model train displays with my day.
As usual life has a way of changing plans. I recently decided to pull my stuff out of storage and finish assembling it and figured might as well join.
Plus I may one day build a regular N layout when I eventually inherit my days train collection.

Hi metal, glad you decided to come out and post! welcome from DC. Where abouts are you on the east coast?

btrains are excellent to get going, inexpensive and you can do small setups and the look good! Ttrak is also fun, start a topic on your module in the ttrak forum, love to see what folks are doing.

cheers

I’m in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. So just along the boarder of NJ.
a ttrak module will not be happening for a while. I’m in a Lego club that does train layouts and an amazing opportunity fell into our laps that’s going to be taking up my time and energy for quite a bit.
I may still work on a small display track for my Red Express since I’m probably keeping it as a two car train.
Also while it’s not gonna be n-scale I do have a Japanese train project that I am planning to bring to the Lego layout. Will have to post about that when more is done. Currently it’s in the “still a dream”

phase haha
