Bigdog
Hi all, recently just picked this W7 set up used. It’s just missing this small little piece and I’m not sure what the product number is or what’s it’s called. Any help would be appreciated. Edited 20 hours ago by Bigdog Link to comment
Kamome
The part you need is Z04-2789. They are insulators for the electrical wires that carry power along the train from the pantographs. If you have the complete box with the purchase, you should have a document printed in green. Towards the back is the spares list. They are ¥440 for a bag with 4 runners. Each sprue runner has 6 insulators on. If you don't have the documentation, you can find the product on Kato's website and providing it's not too old, there should be a PDF link to a digital version of the document. https://www.katomodels.com/product/n/e7kei As you're in Kyoto, you may be able to get at the Kato store if you can't find them elsewhere. Poppondetta and other shops tend to carry Kato spares. These are a common spare so you should be able to get replacements reasonably easily. Edited 19 hours ago by Kamome Link to comment
Bigdog
Thanks for that. I’ve looked through the spares list and can’t seem to find them though. Not sure if I’m just blind. 8 minutes ago, Kamome said: The part you need is Z04-2789. They are insulators for the electrical wires that carry power along the train from the pantographs. Kamome
Well that sucks. No info about the insulators. The product number above is what you need. Link to comment
