@Tony Galiani yep last week. It’s a simple wiring harness under the front mat change and protector on top of it. Apparently some got damaged im assuming from heals of right foot digging into them if they were not routed properly. Pretty simple.

I was going to add that Tomix location to my list for our visit last Fall but I was warned on other threads on this forum that it's not worth it other than looking at the running layout.  They don't sell anything and just display their wares for you to purchase at other LHSes.  I crossed it off.

Definitely sounds like it is not worth a special trip.  We ate at a gyoza place around the corner and, since it was pouring, it would have been nice to know about it just to spend a little time there out of the rain.  I will keep it in mind if we ever happen to be over there for dinner again but I am pleased that I did not miss something really worthwhile.

I beg to disagree 😀

Your description is correct. But their demo layout is well worth a visit, and their products are so nicely displayed that you can easily spend a good hour there just checking what they offer. That’s the main purpose of a « concept store ».

The pictures of it make it look pretty impressive, but not overly big and if I am in the area I would probably stop in.

The issue is seeing what they offer which may not be available when you find a stockist. The old place in Omiya used to have a reasonable holding of stock but wasn't the greatest although it sold a number of exclusives as well as some cheap returned/repaired stock at some silly prices. Does the new place have a service centre or is it merely a showroom?
