Hi! You may call me Ludwig. I started like trains ever since I was around 4 and it was thanks to a specific shinkansen that started my love for trains. I am originally from Hong Kong but currently studying in the UK for university. Hoping to visit Japan again some day!

There are some fun trains to ride while in the UK. There are a number of UK forum members that I’m sure can point you to some interesting trains to ride and model shows to attend. There are a few UK Japanese show layouts that come out at times for display.

I have known quite a lot of interesting trains to ride on in the UK (i have been on a few already) just not the expensive ones known as railtours haha. I am also into the Japanese rail scene but i also struggle to find people and get connections to discuss about them. So hopefully i found the right place here.

Here and the discord is the perfect place to chat about Japanese rail, and more. There is a small core that is also interested in Chinese and Taiwanese railways.

Ah, right. We have limited the access to a certain number of posts to avoid bots and spammers.

ooh i see- i suppose the server would reopened for more members to join whenever the time comes or?

The forum has 2 levels of membership New Members with less than 50 posts and Members with over 50 posts. Becoming her full member gets you access to discord chats and the classified sales area as well. This was implemented way back when we had a lot of spammer and troll activity so we only wanted folks that had been around a bit and interacted some to have access to the more delicate places.

ooh  i see. Hopefully I would be here and there on the fourm. A lot of questions I want to ask in relation to japanese railways.
