Kingmeow
I started to peruse my Kato catalog that I got last month while in Japan. On the back cover there was this advertisement for the app Rail-Navi by Kato. Curious I decided to download and install it from the Google Play Store (also available for Apple on its respective store). Whoa! I was pleasantly surprised! Although it's 98% in Japanese, there are a TON(!) of pictures as people add their posts. I did put in an inquiry to see if there's an English option that I may have missed or enhancement targeted for future release. There are pictures of models, layouts, T-Trak, 1:1 scale, modifications, trips blogs, etc. Seems to be pretty active with posts. It's a well organized app and it's too bad I can't read Japanese. Since it's an app I couldn't utilize Google Translate. Just looking at the pictures for now is pretty useful. Very photo centric. You do have to register to use it. Just an e-mail and your chosen password are needed. Highly recommended. 5 Link to comment
cteno4
Cool! I had seen rail-Navi out there a few times but never really figured out what it was. Works well on the iPad as well for big pictires. Can’t copy pictures directly for stowing away for reference, but easy to screen grab in picture view. Looks to be fun place to roam around. Worked fine to translate via iPhone off iPad screen when needed, just small screen to read translated text on. thanks jeff 1 Link to comment
