E231-500
Hi all, I love little quirky and unusual railway operations. Does anyone know if there are any models available anywhere for trains from the Yokkaichi Asunarou Railway? For those who don't know about it, its a little 762mm gauge (2f 6in) railway in Mie. Their trains are so cute looking and I would love to be able to model them at some stage. They remind me of a full size commuter train but in a 'Shorty' Style. I have googled but no luck. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yokkaichi_Asunarou_Railway_Hachiōji_Line#/media/File%3ANishihino_stn_2.jpg Link to comment
Junech
I did some searching and found this kit which looks similar: https://aozoradensya.cart.fc2.com/ca10/58/p-r-s/ It would be N narrow gauge so you would need Z scale track to run it. I found it over this Twitter post by the company which shows more of the train than the website: https://x.com/Aozoradensya/status/1539213607895855104 Link to comment
E231-500
Awesome, thank you for that! I have plenty of Z scale track already so it should work well. 1 Link to comment
Beaver
In HO-Narrow there is no 260 series available but the very similar 270 series for the Hokusei Line is available as a brass kit from World Kogei. As for stock actually used on the Yokkaichi lines, most of the old 210/220/230 series stock has been produced as kits by World Kogei or Artpro at various times. N-Narrow is much less popular and little supported so it is not a surprise there is little to be found. Your post did not quite make it clear which scale you were looking for. Link to comment
