Hello from the Low Countries

Hi all,

I am André, a 60 year young man from the Netherlands.

Got my first N-scale train set 50 years ago as a birthday present.

This was a Fleischmann Piccolo start set and i was a happy boy then (still am).

The last layout i made a few years ago was a inspired by the Rhätische Bahn / Rhaetian Railway.

Here i used Kato rolling stock for the first time and was very impressed by the build quality of the locos and coaches.

A few months ago i was shown some Japanese N-scale trains from Kato and Tomix and now i'm afraid there is no way back for me now 😁.

My next layout will be Japanese themed, can't wait.

Hope to share here on this forum some of my adventures to come.

The loco in my avatar is a Kato DE10 (7011-2).

Bought it a few weeks ago. It was the last one in stock so i just had to buy it.
