RS18U
I remember riding these during Expo 86, and then later when we lived in Burnaby for a few years, right by the SkyTrain rail yard. Not sure what I would do with one, let alone a bunch of them: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/translink-skytrain-mark-one-1.7372027 Link to comment
Ander88
Most desirable would be to keep them in service and doing what their were built for. If thats not feasible, looking at their shape maybe they could be used as bus stops or food trucks or be placed in parks for kids to play in them. Dont know if thats very difficult. And otherwise finally, they can be sold at auction. At my town, some retired old traind could be bought by anyone starting at 5000€. Its a really cheap price for any enthusiast (that has enough space) or other countries that want to give them a second life (I believe sone went to South América). (News announcing the trains were being auctioned) https://vialibre-ffe.com/noticias.asp?not=23006 Edited November 4 by Ander88 Link to comment

Many years ago, Washington D.C. cut old PCC trolley body shells lengthwise and used the halves as open-sided bus stop shelters. There were also some complete car shells placed in city playgrounds to play in. Rich K. Link to comment

This news also made it to TV and there it implied these would go in lots, not individually. I recall when the old Vancouver area trolleys and interurban cars were retired individuals could buy them, and some ended up as chicken coops, and summer cottages. The rest got burnt and the metal recovered. Link to comment
