Dani
Hello, Most of my train modules are based on Japanese scenery, normally places that I have visited like Yamadera or Tôno. But I'm also fan of Star Wars and I like to build Star Wars miniatures and models. So I thought time ago "why not to build Star Wars train modules"? Yes, it's a little bit weird, but a good way to join two things that I really like and optimize my hobby time. I already bilt Hoth planet: And I'm detailing and finishing Tatooine: And now I'm attempting the most challenging one for me: The Endor Moon I want it to show the shield bunker, the landing pad (for AT-ATs and Tydirium Shuttle), and the Ewok village. Most of them 3D printed myself. So I'll be posting in this thread the advances as often as I can, as my hobby time is very limited. You can tell me if you think this type of modules are too crazy... Cheers! Dani Edited September 13 by Dani 6 Link to comment
cteno4
Very fun! It’s your rr and best to enjoy yourself! We have a couple of nTrak and Ttrak modules in the area that are Star Wars themed. One of our club members has Japanese Ttrak module with a hillside with a crashed flying saucer on it. No reason you can’t have fun with it! jeff 1 Link to comment
Beaver
And what about some suitable trains? I think you could probably use parts from kits for speeders, walkers, small spacecraft etc to make train bodies to put on Tomytec or Green Max chassis. 1 Link to comment

Dani
This is one of the scenes I want to reproduce from the "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi", the Landing Pad with the Tydirium Shuttle and one AT-AT in the Endor Moon: First of all I printed, properly scaled, these models I found in Thingiverse: Mars Bars Scuttle: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:872684 from user "aaskedall" Endor Landing Pad - ATAT Docks: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2797170 from user "gametree3D" The shuttle had no landing gear, so I used the following one that also includes the ramp: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4712777 from user "EdgeBeyond42" Shuttle was printed with water soluble support filament: And the Landing Pad was "cut" to be printed in 3 different parts so the lamp posts were no printed and there was no need for supports. After drilling a hole in the pilars for the main wires this is how I painted it: I also painted the shuttle and added a tiny led in the front to illuminate the ramp: I used 4 street lamps to illuminate the Landing Pad and this is the final result: One part of the scenery ready!!! I'll post more advances soon hopefuly..... Edited September 13 by Dani 6 Link to comment
