Kato V2 as substitute for K3?

I’m still relatively new to this and looking into Kato viaduct pieces for the first time. An up-and-over figure 8 design appeals to me and I see Kato used to offer a kit for this as the K3. Does the modern V2 set include all the pieces I would need to replicate the K3 layout, or at least produce something to the same effect?

I'm not familiar with the K3, I assume this was for the North American market, does look similar, but not the same as the V2 set in terms of contents. Possibly called N3 in Japan.

 

I can only make assumptions from online images of the K3.  The V2 does not come with any non-viaduct curves which images and track plans of the K3 seem to. The V2 comes with 8x R315-45 degree viaduct curves whereas the images of the K3 looks like it included 10 to make a dog bone. The other difference I can see (from images) the K3 possibly came with 4x 186mm viaduct straights. The V2 comes with 4 x 248mm and 2x 124mm

 

The radius of the curves, included piers, bridge sections appear to be the very similar if not the same. All parts are available separately so you could always add the missing parts to replicate the K3 set up.
