Madsing
Just purchased this Digital Angle Meter https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003134842982.html I find it affordable and, among many other things, useful for measuring the slope of tracks. The measurement units can be selected between degrees, mm/m, % (see photos below) or in/feet. It is small enough to sit on n-gauge tracks. Marc 3 Link to comment
cteno4
Ha I’ve never thought to use my digital angle meter on trains! I use it for setting blade angles in the shop. I’m quite impressed at how well it works compared to using angle blocks and when I’ve tested it against standard angle blocks it’s always been spot on. Easier to slap it in the blade with the magnets than have to deal with a shim on the angle blocks to miss the saw blade teeth. but handy with trains to see if your grade is consistent! jeff 1 Link to comment
