Victoria BC 2024 Model Railway Show September 15, 10 - 4

Just wanted to let those who might be in the area know the 2024 Victoria model railway show is being held September 15th at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, just outside Victoria.  Hours are 10 - 4, and admission is $8 for adults, $16 for families, $7 for youth and NMRA/PNR members, and those under 8 are free if accompanied by an adult.  https://marywinspear.ca/event/victoria-model-railway-show-2024

So I attended the Victoria show on Sunday (would be pretty sad if after I had promoted it here I did not attend).  Was pretty good although I did not see any real deals for my N Scale Japanese project except for some figures.

 

There was one large layout in the main room, plus a smaller N scale one from the Canadian Navy (CFB Esquimalt).  A smaller room was heavy to Lego and also had a small HO scale layout.  Not as many layouts as the spring Nanaimo show but pretty good given the limitations of the space in Sidney (Victoria).
