SwitchOnSwitchOff
I just received a Micro Ace DD16 from Yahoo. It runs great on Tomix C140 curves, but cannot handle C103 as the bogies cannot swivel enough and the wheels are pushed off track. I knew this might be the case, but as we have a member here whose much longer Tomix DE10 happily runs on C103, it is slightly disappointing. Does anyone have a Kato DD16 they have tested working on C103 curves? I could just get a Tomix DE10, but the DD16 will look much better. Link to comment
bill937ca
I don't think anything Micro Ace makes would run on C103 curves. Micro Ace makes trains with the usual radius applied. Tomix is the maker of Super Mini so there is a good chance there stuff runs on C103. Link to comment
SwitchOnSwitchOff
@bill937ca Thank Bill! I do understand that, but my question is really whether the Kato DD16 has been confirmed by anyone to run on C103. Link to comment
SwitchOnSwitchOff
Found the answer. Yes, Kato DD16 will run on Tomix C103. Leaving it here for reference: Edited August 30 by SwitchOnSwitchOff Link to comment
