Simon moore
Hello all, My name is Si & I've recently become fascinated with Japanese trains. I've modelled trains & railways for over 30 years of various countries & prototypes. I like to find out new things & learn more about countries around the world through modelling. I'm looking forward to learning more & joining in on the forums. Si 6 Link to comment
cteno4
Welcome @Simon moore, glad you found us! Trains are a great way to learn about other places in the world. In Japan they are all over the place and next to just about everything so the modeling/scene opportunities are immense and diverse. The diversity in trains is also just amazing. cheers, jeff 1 Link to comment
RS18U
Welcome @Simon moore. Like you I have been a model railroader for a long time (since 1979) although primarily Canadian and logging railways in HO scale. With my wife's family being in Japan, and our trips there, I have come to appreciate the Japanese railway scene and have recently started to model it in N gauge. I have found this forum to be a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of Japanese railways. My most basic questions have been answered in positive ways, none of that "just Google it" stuff. This has been a refreshing place to hang out. 2 Link to comment
