brill27mcb
Can any of our German members shed any light on the recent Siemens Combino and Duewag tram models offered by Rietze Auto Modelle? I am unfamiliar with the brand and can find little useful detailed information about these models. https://rietze.de/search?p=1&q=stra%2B1%3A160&o=7&n=12&f=98|69 I understand that they are static models, and it looks like they do have flanged wheels and can sit on N-gauge track. Are these models diecast, plastic, or what? Do the articulation joints actually bend? Does it look like they could be motorized and operated? They seem to be done in conjunction with Linie8. Any help would be appreciated! Rich K. 1 Link to comment
bill937ca
All my Rietze motor vehicles have been made of plastic. On the original links you posted the model number is under the payment block. e.g. STRA01201 DM Toys has these listed for a cheaper price. It notes it is without a drive. Why not ask DM your questions? https://www.dm-toys.de/en/product-details/Rietze_STRA01201.html A full retail listing on eBay lists these as being made of plastic. https://www.ebay.com/itm/395173255236?itmmeta=01J1G45KQ6DDBM96P941FP59WP&hash=item5c02295844:g:oF8AAOSwPuZlulw6&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4GyKnDwr7TZTsUVAdDrtOCOxnvpch9jUNSddx%2BfSJaod6c9fZDxJFatxxQp5%2FwpRJGXhZA%2FM6tOWTz%2FURHjKF%2BVaZF6%2F1ETPb60UFAX1ps2d7qEeMWdkJidm263Imq5ZqsE%2Fx9QsfJG12F%2BYntuTj7O4MztbsG9HvEE4Erhr%2BHMbykhAjkOy1ElT5zPuc3IYLMY5HZ4fL6XYzCSkpB0z5nvrZumcqLW1n%2B0ImJuRAoHxVGProBIZLZDbYFoWKFpd087tMxNOluytjpk6TV7qCz4iqJ13uQnZ9AUL8ET%2ByLnf|tkp%3ABk9SR9K7loSMZA Edited June 28 by bill937ca 1 Link to comment
brill27mcb
As always, thanks for your response, Bill! Items from Germany can sure be expensive, as can the added cost of shipping to the U.S. That's why I am trying to find out more detailed information on these new models. Rich K.
