I bought this N Scale set in the 1980s. It has operating directional nose and tail lights, runs well and appears very nicely made. Does anyone know the maker of the set or anything else about it?

The red logo is that of Endo, a Japanese manufacturer, although they no longer produce N scale, only very nice plastic and brass HO scale. Endo stopped making N scale by the mid 80s and you have obviously taken good care of it as it looks like a very good example.

Your set was probably produced around the time you purchased it, possibly in conjunction with Greenmax as I think there may have been some link between the two companies during this time.

Thank you Kyushu for your post.

I want to ultimately install  a dcc decoder and convert the lighting to leds controlled by Kato FL12 decoders.  I welcome all tips and suggestions.
