MangakaRailfan Posted June 2 Share Posted June 2 Hello all! I am finally returning to the forum after a LOOOOONG break. You may remember me from my ill-fated Kusakaru Layout project. While not modelling in Hon30 anymore, and my layout is not in Japan, I am now modelling n scale, a freelance railroad a bit closer to home here in Canada. Today, 8 was thinking about Japanese electrics, when an idea hit me: would there be any way to run Japanese equipment on my railroad? It just so turns out that on its more mountainous routes, an American railway known as the Milwaukee road ran electrics. Even better, the line I plan to model had an electrification proposal that was never implemented due to the harsh days of WW2. It was time to rekindle my interest in all things Japanese… 1 Link to comment
