brill27mcb
Hi everyone, This may be of interest to tram modelers here. I just read, via the railwire.net discussion group, about the passing of Eric Courtney, so I am passing along the sad news. A Canadian, Eric was a champion for N scale traction modeling, through his production (as Miniatures by Eric) of cast resin U.S. interurban and streetcar carbodies, working trolley poles, and overhead wire hardware. We owe a lot to him, and he will be missed. https://www.westlockfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Eric-James-Courtney?obId=31430186 His former N trolley/tram products: http://www.trainweb.org/n-trolleys/miniaturesbyeric/index.htm Rich K. RS18U
So sorry to hear that. I have used his brass detail parts for almost as long as I have been a model railroader. About the only source for Canadian specific details. Will be missed for sure. 1 Link to comment
