Imagine my surprise - what's this JR thing in Australia?

So Imagine my surprise (mixed with a bit of delight) in waiting at a busy intersection this morning, only for a convoy of large flatbed trucks to go past carrying some oversize JR marked ... rolling stock? Grabbed my phone for some sneaky pics but dammit didn't get any focus 😞 - the orange logo is JR though... second hand stuff?

Possibly a tie tamper for 1435mm gauge from the shinkansen, the orange logo would be JR Tokai.

You could be right - the cutaway part of the second piece fits the bill. A fair amount of rail here but no high speed of course.

They were heading south on Stock Road, intersection of South St, south of Perth.

GEMCO Australia has supplied rail flaw detection vehicles/devices to JR Tokai in the past (RTV-A3 model). They are typically labeled as RFD/Liteslice.  Could be related to that.
