Diana P
Is there an easy way to obtain a 25mm track-center-to-track-center spacing for a siding or loop? (Easier than modifying Unitrack, or using Peco / Atlas.) Thanks. Ryusei (orange set) and Nanohana (yellow set) of Ryutetsu's Nagareyama Line, currently under construction. cteno4
Hi Diana, No, I don’t think so. Unitrak is built around the 33mm track spacing, for sidings the #4 points will get you sidings at 33mm if you use the standard r481-15 to straighten the siding out. You can pull this in tighter with a smaller radius 15 degree piece but I doubt get it all the way down to 25mm spacing which is tracks butt up against each other. I’ll give it a whack in track program to see what you can get it down to. But putting in a tighter radius than the r481 may require shaving a tad more off the #4 point s60R and L straights that already has an edge of the roadbed shaved off. cheers jeff Link to comment
dotzen
There is a Unitrack to Unitram adaptor piece, 40-021, that narrows a double track from 33mm to 25mm. It's in the current KATO USA catalog, pg 9 & 25. Link to comment
