VentureForth
Is it just me, or does Tomix only make the S140 and S280 (along with a couple of other double wide curves) in Slab style? I have a 35 year old viaduct set that I've replace the old brown track with Fine Track. Then I see that there's a cool S140-SL that I can put into the viaduct frames. Only problem is that it'd look dumb unless I could get my C280-45s replaced, too, but Tomix doesn't seem to make those. How odd. Am I missing something here? Link to comment
bill937ca
Tomix makes more including a couple of sets. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=104&cat=rail&state=&sold=0&sortid=6&searchkey=slab&spage=1&Make=Tomix https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10073998 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10047042 Edited January 15 by bill937ca Link to comment

No single 280-45 curves. Didn't want to buy all new viaduct housings. Link to comment
MeTheSwede
I think the purpose of the slab track is to model high speed Shinkansen sections. For that only double track with wide curve radii and straights are needed, so that is what Tomix produces. Link to comment

katoftw
There just isn't a high demand for it. So the available sizes are limit offerings. Link to comment
