Shinkansen 0-Series is Kato, track is a variety of vintage and current Tomix track. 
 

Japanese apartment style. 🙂
 

I don’t think I’d be happy with a permanent layout. I like putting it down and taking it up.

Did an alternate layout in the den.  a little shorter, but up to four parallel tracks near the "station".  Only problem is that I'm still waiting for my switch extension cord to arrive from Hobby Search.

 

Two videos - first is 201-series Chuo line making it's way around the full track.  Second is the Trinity Railway Express on the outer loop and the Chuo on the inner loop.  Inner loop has a twist so sometimes they're chasing, sometimes they are opposing.

any issues picking up carpet puzz in your motor cars?
