I did it!

I equpped my first Steam Locomotive with a "hard wired" Decoder. Instead to solder a 6-Pin Decoder directly, I decided to install an adapter with next18 interface into the Locomotve.

I just soldered the black/red wires on the power contacts in the Tender and the grey/orange wires on the motor comtacts in the Locomotives. I decided to not wire the front lights, which now shine every time when there is Power On.

The ESU Lokpilot 5 let the Locomotive run very smoothy even on the slowest grade. I'm very happy with my results. This was the first time I solded a Decoder with his very small wires.
