marknewton
Every year on the 26th of January - Australia Day - there is a big display of vintage vehicles in Sydney's CBD, known as "Motorfest". Apart from the static displays, there are vintage bus rides around the city, which is what my family and friends were mainly interested in. My son and my godson love buses almost as much as they love trains. But while we we looking around the various vehicles on display, I came across some lovely old Japanese vehicles, seen in these photos. And when I'd finished drooling over the cars, I took the kids on some bus rides. Boys being boys, they wanted to ride on the "deckle" buses, so that's what we did, and everybody was happy! Cheers, Mark. Link to comment

marknewton
Love that red Toyota Corona S! Thanks for posting. My pleasure, BB. My wife saw it, and immediately wanted it - although I think it was the Betty Boop graphics that impressed her most. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment

You're not wrong Tony, they're one of my favourites too. When I was a kid one of my aunts had one, and going to visit her was always a treat. As I recall they had quite good performance for the time, and she always used to drive like a women on a mission. Apparently there's a lot of them owned by Isuzu club members, there were six on display on Tuesday. Cheers, Mark. Link to comment
