Nakagin Capsule Tower, single tower for corner block.. N-scale (now 2 towers)

A modified version of the Nakagin Capsule Town, with a single tower and designed as a corner building. Base footprint is only 100mm x 70mm.

 

The tower could probably be cut into sections horizontally for printing  on a small printer... all other parts are small enough

 

Plenty of pod types to play with. They connect with a 10mm joiner with a hole in it for lighting..

 

Capsules have a lens that could be printed in transparent filament.

 

Thanks to Jeff's comment elsewhere, non-prototypical "long" pods, (3 cubes instead of 2), are also included.

 

I still have to do the emblem and writing for the tower, when I can find a decent enough picture to convert to an stl.

 

Very much a "what if" design.... not printed yet.

 Decided to add the smaller tower as an option. I know the base isn't the correct shape... 

 

... but it is designed to be a possible part of my 7cm deep business/apartment street.

 btw.. I am part way through making this.. pods will actually be printed in 5 or 6 different pastel colours.  🙂
