cteno4
Not at all! These are very fun and very nice of you to make the files available free to others to play with! Will look forward to picts of the printouts! jeff Link to comment
b.nice2000
Printout successful. 🙂 Needed to make a couple of minor adjustments to the top window and skylight. Skylight printed ok, with just a few loose strands from bridging on the top beam. Still need to decide how to do the glass... might alter the doorway section. cteno4
Can you show some of the parts as printed and how they are all going together? Have you thought of printing them a floor at a time and stacking so you have floors? Or making floor inserts? cheers jeff 1 Link to comment
b.nice2000
Hi Jeff. I think the picture shows how it goes together quite well. because of the different colours Window frames press in from the back of the facade, Entranceway and facade press fit into the main body, skylight fits on top. At the stage in the picture above, only glue is the window frames to the facade, but not really needed as they were a tight fit. I could look at doing this a floor at a time so they can slide into the body.. but I'm trying to make them as easy to print as possible without using supports. Alternatively, I could make it so it can be built a floor at a time that can be stacked, with each floor a single printout. I think I can see how it could be done. Link to comment
cteno4
Wasn’t sure if you were printing vertically or walls flat and gluing walls together. jeff Link to comment
