bc6
Out of the package the doors would not stay on the cars. My question is can I glue the doors on with plastic glue without worrying about damaging the body thanks. Link to comment
Kamome
I would check the lugs that secure the part to the body. If these are worn or broken then you may want to glue. The issue you would have is the adhesive may frost the glass parts. In this case, as the part doesn’t bear any load, I would secure with thin strips of double sided tape so you don’t have to deal with any errors in glueing. If you wanted to glue, I’d recommend the Tamiya clear adhesive for clear parts as it’s semi permanent and any over spill can be removed. I swear by the stuff for adding metal etched plates on HO stock amongst other things. Edited October 8, 2023 by Kamome 5 Link to comment

disturbman
PVA glue is my go-to solution for such repairs and/or installing detailing parts. 1 Link to comment
cteno4
PVA is my goto as well for these kinds of things. Strong enough to hold a light piece but will not attack plastics or paints and with a sharp lift it usually pops off or drop of water on the joint for a while will soften the PVA and it will wipe/peel off any PVA glue. jeff 1 Link to comment
