Bigdog
Like boxy. It just looks very different to my other Shinkansens Edited October 1, 2023 by Bigdog Link to comment
disturbman
I rewrote your title as otherwise it's too long. But which part are you talking about? The nose, the shape of the body, the bogies, ect? Usually, people speak about the aerodynamic of the nose, but I fail to see what could seem boxy. We also don't know what is your reference to judge the shape boxy. You need to be more precise when talking to people. Like "Does anyone find the nose of the N700 'Kamome' more square than the nose of the 500?" Also, if you are talking about general shapes, that has nothing to do with the model, but the prototype 🙂 Edited October 1, 2023 by disturbman Link to comment
Bigdog
Ok thanks for your help. Do you happen to have this train set? Link to comment
disturbman
No, I don't like Eiji Mitooka's design, but I have seen it up-close and personal, and even handled it. It's a fine model. Nothing to say against it. You are not used to Tomix models? Link to comment
Bigdog
Yeah I’ve never really owned one before. To be honest I started with Kato and it’s just what I’m used to Link to comment
disturbman
Expand your horizons. All the Japanese manufacturers make great models. Link to comment
katoftw
I have this model. But you gonna need to expand on your question? I don't understand, "does it look square?" Link to comment
