PDXTrains
Hello Friends: Can that adorable Hiroshima "Flower" decorated tram run on regular Kato unitrak, or does it require some sort of special tram track? Thanks for your help. I'm familiar with Kato USA products but am just dipping my toe into Kato Japan. Edited August 19, 2023 by PDXTrains Link to comment
cteno4
All Japanese n scale trains run fine on Unitrak and Tomix fine track (as well as almost all n scale track). Some older cars may have larger flanges and trouble on code 55, but those would be pretty old. Unitram is just basically street car Unitrak and Tomix has their own road mounted track system. Trams tends to be able to take the super tight radius curves than longer cars with longer wheel bases and axle spacing. Regular trains will also run on the tram tracks as long as the radius is not too tight for the cars. jeff 2 Link to comment
