Kato 651 "Super Hitachi"

I've begun prepping my Kato 10-173 "Super Hitachi" for conversion to DCC. The first step is to eliminate the bulbs used for the interior lighting, to prevent overheating and meltdowns, and to cut down on the power usage (in another post here that I can't find, I estimated this 7-car train drew almost an entire amp of power at full speed!!).
