maihama eki
I agree it's just a matter of time. I would definitely buy it. I have the February 2023 Japan Railfan Magazine with it on the cover. Listing some of the more weird trains that eventually were done in n-scale: the Nankai Rapi:t (in multiple liveries), the Eizan Series 700 Hiei, the Seibu Laview 001, ... not to mention all the wacky special painted trains: the Series 287 Panda Kuroshio Train (both Kato and Tomix), Hello Kitty, Eva, Disney Waku Waku Trip,... that all seem to get done by someone. I will admit to having collected many of these. I've also preordered the Toei 6500. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toei_6500_series#/media/File%3AToei_Series6500-6505.jpg I aim to have the most eclectic collection of trains. 1 Link to comment
bc6
The Toei 6500 has a Thomas the tank vibe for some reason but its a nice looking train. Its funny you mention Hello Kitty because I just purchased that set, The cool yet strange one for me is Evangelion I really like that set in N scale but at $1,000 per set no thanks lol. maihama eki is there a way to see your collection of electric trains? JR East
I would definitely buy it as I love the look & feel. Same look as the train in Divergent (01:10) .... probably inspired by .... Edited June 9, 2023 by JR East 1 Link to comment

Hmmm, not getting any Thomas vibes from the Toei 6500 though I admit it does have something of a slabsided look as did the original Express Coaches from the model series. disturbman
The Toei 6500 is a Borg cube, and nothing else. Resistance is very much futile. Edited June 9, 2023 by disturbman 1 3 Link to comment
Bigdog
Kinda looks like a rubix cube. Nevertheless I would love to run that on my commuter track 1 Link to comment
