Jaco3011
This layout is meant to be made mistakes on. I got the benchwork right at second attempt, first attempt currently serves as a bookshelf. I used it as an uni project, it passed, but my co-students glued turnouts off-place and now I'm trying to somehow remove them (turnouts, not co-students) without damaging. It's going to be a looong way before it's finished, but at least I get the chance to learn. 9 Link to comment
cteno4
Jaco, thats great! Really the way to learn, try, figure out what worked and did not work and try again. each round things get better and you gain experience that makes more things work each round. Keep us posted everyone can learn from others' work as well. jeff Link to comment

Jaco3011
Mainline is finished on this end, a bogie passes mainline without problems. 4 Link to comment
Jaco3011
Turnout no. 1 (mainline into station tracks) has a working drive. No. 2 (siding into mainline or lead) needs a bigger hole, I'll file some plywood next week. No. 3 (lead into siding or void) has broken drawbar and the glue didn't last. No idea how it will eventually end. Also, current numbering is polish system, don't base your layouts on it. 1 Link to comment
Jaco3011
Turnout no. 2 was damaged while trying to widen the hole beneath. I tried to fix it and it somehow works. Edited October 21, 2023 by Jaco3011 Link to comment
