FrictionShifter
Hi. Wondering if someone out there with single and double-car Modemo trams could give me an idea of their length. I am planning to make a small, tabletop diorama with Tomix Finetrack, something like this http://www.tomytec.co.jp/diocolle/lineup/diorama/dio_03.html and want to know if a double or single car will fit on the siding. Depends on the tram. I'll assume you are referring to the Toukyu Series 300? Link to comment

bill937ca
A 140mm straight is roughly equal to a 20m EMU or railway car. Most streetcars in Japan are 12 or 13m. The Tokyu 300 series articulated cars are 23980mm (23.9m) long and would fit into a 99mm + 140mm siding. Link to comment
