Giugiaro
I've been using Revolut. It's where I trade and hold JPY. I created a permanent virtual debit card on Revolut so that I could associate it with my Paypal account. When paying with Paypal, I set the exchange option as "Convert with card issuer". This will automatically draw from the Revolut's JPY account. Warning: 1 - "Convert with card issuer" option on Paypal is only available on the web browser. The Paypal mobile app will only allow to "Convert currency with PayPal". 2 - Buying JPY without exhange fees is only possible when Forex is open (i. e. weekdays). When the Forex market is closed during weekends, Revolut charges a 1 to 2% fee on the exchanged value. Before doing an exchange, Revolut shows the transaction values and the fees applied. If there are fees, the Forex market is closed or you've reached the 1000€ monthly cap for exchanges.
