bc6
I needed a soldering iron because I lent it to someone It was a Hakko 936 analog soldering iron meaning no digital controls or led. I thought about it for a while and pulled the trigger on a TS101 soldering iron. It was a cool little iron with digital features, quick heat up and led screen upgradable yadda yadda yadda. It grew on me like mold lol there was something that was wrong with it that I couldn't shake until today. When I was using it I felt something pulling on it as I have the iron in a Hakko stand. The iron was being weighed down by the powerbrick which made using the iron uncomfortable for me as it felt like it was being snatched from me and Im scared that the iron will pull out of the holder and burn me or something else. So its going to be a no on the TS101 from me dawg, I think with the other power cords that the iron would be a good solution. The XT60 and the USB C cables are ver lightweight and wouldn't have the effect that the powerbrick has on me. Edited April 22, 2023 by bc6 1 Link to comment
